About Animal House Shelter:
Owners relinquishing their pets due to personal financial difficulties, floods in the Midwest, and the puppy mill shake-up have put our shelter in a position where we are reaching out more than ever now for your help.
Animal House Shelter has been fortunate. Our volunteers & fostering programs continue to grow, but donations are the only way we can continue our work.
Spread the word! Let everyone you know hear about Animal House Shelter and our need for donations, loving homes for the dogs & cats, and foster homes. Ask your company to include Animal House Shelter as one of their charities for donation. Ask the local school, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and other organizations to gather donations from our “wish list”.
Here’s another idea: In lieu of flowers/gifts, have your friends make donations to Animal House Shelter for weddings, birthdays & memorials. Animal House Shelter will send notification to all participating parties. Please remember to provide the necessary information.
Veterinarians: We are looking for veterinarians who will volunteer their time to spay and neuter animals before adoption. This will cut our vet expense dramatically so funds may be used to purchase additional medication and supplies that will make the animals stay more comfortable until adoption.
